The Building Blocks of Our Building Automation System
With onework CORE, TOUCH, GUARD, and SCAN, we create integrated solutions for control, operation, monitoring, and diagnostics in modern buildings.
The Central Control System for Room Automation
onework CORE connects the relevant functions of a room and handles the central control logic. Lighting, sun protection, and other room functions can be integrated into a coordinated solution based on KNX, DALI, and connected systems.
The focus is not on a closed product system, but rather on the flexible integration of components suited to each specific project. Commercially available sensors, existing KNX infrastructure, and various actuators can be integrated into the room logic.
Typical tasks: central room logic, lighting control, sun protection, scenes, linking sensors and actuators, and the integration of various building systems.
Intuitive Control for Modern Spaces
onework TOUCH consolidates key room functions on a clearly structured interface. Lighting, sun protection, temperature, and other functions can be controlled directly and intuitively.
The user interface can be customized for each project based on room type and usage. Through integration with KNX-based systems, TOUCH serves as a direct link between the user and room automation.
Typical tasks: switching and dimming lights, operating sun protection, adjusting setpoints, and activating scenes.
Monitoring and Transparency for KNX-Based Systems
onework GUARD centrally records system statuses, messages, and anomalies and displays them clearly. This allows errors to be identified, categorized, and addressed more quickly.
GUARD thus supports technical operations management and provides greater transparency regarding devices, data points, and system statuses.
Typical tasks: monitoring statuses, visualizing messages, organizing alarms, and troubleshooting issues more quickly.
Structured Diagnostics for KNX Projects
onework SCAN supports the systematic testing of KNX projects and clearly displays anomalies, device statuses, and communication statuses. This allows errors to be isolated more quickly and technical tests to be conducted in a more traceable manner.
The results can be used for analysis and documentation. SCAN creates greater transparency—especially during commissioning, troubleshooting, and for existing systems—and reduces the need for manual individual tests.
Typical tasks: Testing KNX projects, analyzing devices and statuses, identifying anomalies, filtering results, and documenting tests.
Open integration with established standards
Building automation works best when components and systems can be flexibly interconnected.
That is why onework relies on open standards and off-the-shelf components rather than a closed manufacturer ecosystem.
KNX
KNX serves as the central foundation for linking various room and building functions. Existing infrastructure and new components can be integrated into a unified automation system.
DALI
DALI enables flexible control of professional lighting. Brightness, scenes, and—depending on the model—color temperatures can be specifically integrated into the building automation system.
SMI
SMI provides a standardized interface for sun protection systems. This allows venetian blinds and other motorized shading solutions to be precisely integrated into the room control system.
Flexible Sensors
onework is not limited to its own portfolio of sensors. Depending on the project, appropriate presence, light, and other sensors from various manufacturers can be integrated.
